- Probably the most frustrating aspect of the job hunt is that companies and agencies post jobs that are just window shopping to see what they can get. They ask for 10 bullet points, ask you to come in after seeing your resume, and then decide that they want 15 bullet points and you only have 12.

- I've found primary care doctors blow off a lot of symptoms, particularly the male doctors, as just "normal for a woman your age." If you don't need a referral, I recommend an annual with an ob/gyn as they are much better trained to look for these types of issues.

- I have been driving my "tin can" of a Jeep for 13 years. Clearly you haven't ever owned one. I absolutely love my Jeep. It's a 4-cyl 5 speed standard transmission and I get 22-23 mpg with a combination of surface roads and highway.

- I started car pooling with a co worker last spring when gas was $3 a gallon. There are days I would love to pop out and do an errand at lunch, but other than that and being flexible during busy times where one of us may need to stay a little later, it has worked out very well.
